I Would Love To Stand Before God - Admonition 143

Scripture: Exodus 3:3-53 Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”4 So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!”And he said, “Here I am.”5 Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Adam Cozort: And now,
Admonition, brought to you by

the Collierville Church of
Christ.

Aaron Cozort: Have you ever
thought, I would love to stand

before God?

I would love to stand in God's
presence.

It might be a little bit more of
an experience than you think it

is.

In Exodus chapter three, Moses
comes near the burning bush and

the bush is on fire, but it's
not being consumed.

And the voice comes to him from
the midst of the bush and the

Lord speaks to him.

He tells him to take off his
sandals for the place where he's

standing is holy ground and
Moses will fall flat and will

turn his face away from the
voice of the Lord.

Why?

Because the presence of God is
an awesome...

and scary place to be.

Be careful what you ask for.

Someday, you just might get it.
