The Furtherance of the Gospel - Admonition 131

Philippians 1:12-13Passage: But I want you to know, brethren, that the things which happened to me have actually turned out for the furtherance of the gospel, so that it has become evident to the whole palace guard, and to all the rest, that my chains are in Christ; Transcript: And now, Admonition, brought to you by the Collierville Church of Christ. Adam Cozort: And now,
Admonition, brought to you by

the Collierville Church of
Christ.

Aaron Cozort: Have you ever had
bad things happen to you and you

wonder what good could possibly
come from all of this trouble?

Paul ended up in prison, thrown
in jail, beaten, shipwrecked,

taken to another city, into
Rome, and then put in jail again

and stayed there.

But in Philippians chapter one,
while in prison, he writes this,

"But I want you to know,
brethren, that the things which

happened to me have actually
turned out for the furtherance

of the Gospel." For those who
preach the Gospel, hard times

come, but sometimes we find that
the hard times are open doors to

preach the truth.

Are you looking for open doors
to proclaim the Gospel?

I hope you preach the Gospel and
let God worry about the

troubles.
